Sneak Peek: What Happens When Chip Douglas Replaces Major Dutch Schaefer in Predator

When the CIA needs an elite squad to rescue hostages in the Val Verde jungle, they don’t get a cigar-chomping, hyper-muscled Special Forces veteran. They get Chip Douglas, wearing a light blue tool work shirt, a heavy utility belt, and a high-frequency signal generator strapped to his chest.

The mission starts in the chopper, where Chip immediately unnerves the commando squad by sitting far too close to Dillon, breathing heavily, and turning the iconic arm-wrestling handshake into a two-handed grip held way too long as he whispers, “I can be your best friend, or your worst enemy.” While Blain lugs “Ol’ Painless,” Chip unrolls 500 feet of RG-6 coaxial cable through the thick foliage, insisting the guerrillas need a high-definition satellite hookup before any assault can begin.
